Dundas County Hospice is a non-profit organization that is partially supported by government funding. About 45% of required funds are generated by donations and our own fundraising efforts.

Government Funding

About 55% of our budget is provided by the Champlain (LHIN) Local Health Integration Network. We report to and are held accountable to the LHIN and the Ministry of Health & Long-Term Care. 

General Donations

We are truly blessed to live in such a caring and generous community. We receive financial support from many church and service groups, individuals and businesses. All donations big and small are greatly appreciated. Donors can now make a contribution to Hospice online through

You or your family can name Dundas County Hospice as a charity for family and friends to donate to in your memory.

Fundraising Events

The following fundraising activities are held annually and help to augment our revenue:

The Hospice Hoedown is held bi-annually (even years) and is a major fundraiser for Hospice as well.
