Services Overview

Hospice volunteers provide free in-home non-medical care and support to qualifying individuals, family members and caregivers.

Free Services

Our services are offered at no charge thanks to caring volunteers who selflessly share their time to provide the support you need. Our team approach makes it possible to provide support seven days a week to those who would rather spend their last months and days of life in their own homes.

Who Qualifies

Residents of South Dundas or North Dundas who live in their own home, with others, or in a retirement home may be referred. Dundas County Hospice accepts referrals from relatives, health and social agencies, nurses, physicians, clergy or friends for any adult or child at any stage of a life-threatening disease or from anyone providing care for a terminally ill dependant. We also accept self referrals.

Confidential and Discreet Assistance

Our warm and caring volunteers are trained to create a trusting environment for clients through discreet and dignified behaviour that respects individual privacy.
