Dundas County Hospice provides compassionate care and support to individuals and families facing life-limiting illness, grief and loss. Our programs and services are offered completely free of charge, ensuring that support is available when families need it most.

While we receive partial government funding, more than 60% of our annual funding must be raised through donations and community fundraising.

That is where you make a difference.

The generosity of individuals, families, businesses, churches, service clubs and community partners helps ensure that compassionate hospice care remains available right here in our community.

Every gift, no matter the size, helps us provide care, comfort and connection to local families.

You can donate:

• In person: Cash, cheque, debit or credit card 
• By mail: Send a cheque payable to Dundas County Hospice 
• By phone: Credit card donations can be made by calling our office 
• Online: Donate securely through CanadaHelps or PayPal 

Charitable tax receipts are available for eligible donations of $20 or more when a full name and mailing address are provided.

A memorial donation is a meaningful way to honour the life of someone special while helping other families in our community.

Families may choose to name Dundas County Hospice as the recipient of memorial donations. Speak with your funeral director or contact us and we would be happy to assist with arrangements.

A gift in your will can help ensure compassionate hospice care continues to be available for generations to come.

If you are considering including Dundas County Hospice in your will or estate plan, we encourage you to speak with your lawyer or financial advisor about the giving option that is right for you.

Each spring, our newsletter is delivered to households throughout North and South Dundas. It shares stories from our programs, updates from Hospice and the impact your support is having in our community.

A donation form and return envelope are included for those who would like to support our work.

Whether you attend, collect pledges, become a sponsor, donate an auction item or volunteer your time, your participation helps make our work possible.

Birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, retirements and other milestones can become an opportunity to give back.

Consider inviting friends and family to make donations to Dundas County Hospice in lieu of gifts, or make a donation in honour of someone special. At your request, we can send a card letting them know a thoughtful gift has been made in their honour.
