Donations and Fundraising
Dundas County Hospice is a non-profit organization that is partially supported by the Champlain Local Health Integration Network. We report to and are held accountable to the Champlain LHIN and the Government of Ontario, through the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. The remaining 45% of our required funds is generated by donations and our own fundraising efforts.
How YOU Can Help Us
We are truly blessed to live in such a caring and generous community. We receive financial support from area churches, service groups, (such as local Lions Club and branches of the Royal Canadian Legion, I.O.O.F.), individuals and businesses. ALL donations are appreciated.

Newsletter Donations
In the spring of each year, we send a newsletter to all residents in North and South Dundas to remind people of our services. For convenience, a tear-away form and self-addressed envelope is included for anyone who wishes to donate to Dundas County Hospice. You can see our most recent newsletter here.
Our Fundraisers
We hold fundraisers over the course of the year. Our Hike for Hospice is held on the first Sunday in May during the National Campaign. Our Golf Tournament is held in June. Please consider taking part in these events, either as a participant and collect pledges from your friends or family or making a pledge for a participant. Every other year, in the fall, we hold a big community event with a dinner, dancing and both a live and silent auction. Consider attending and bidding or donating item(s) for the auctions. Sponsorship levels are available for business or individual donors for consideration on our website or in the Newsletter.
